Hewlett Packard or simply HP is a great name in the world of printers. It was founded by Bill Hewlett and Dave Packard in 1939. During those times, they focused on the creation of audio oscillators in Palo Alto, California. These oscillators were used by Walt Disney for their movie “Fantasia”. And this started everything.

HP then continued to create electronics and they were known in the production of voltmeters and counters. In the early 1960’s, they founded Silicon Valley and started creating semiconductors. In 1966, they entered the world of computers and they unleashed their HP 2100 and the HP1000 as their starting lineups. These models were well-made that they lasted for almost 20 years before followed by other models with the screen keys. Due to the demand of screen keys in the computers, HP released their HP 2640 model. This era made HP famous in the world of technology.

In 1984, Hewlett Packard introduced their very first HP inkjet printers and HP laser printers. These printers have HP inkjet cartridges that were especially made for the use with the computers. This trial launched of HP was not that successful due to the targeted market. HP thought of a strategy to make their HP printers and their HP ink cartridges popular by attracting consumers through online stores for easier accessibility.

Today, HP is renowned to their HP printers and HP printer inkjet cartridges. The name HP gives the customers the trust and security that they want. HP bears the words high-quality, trusted and sturdy made products. So this is the humble beginning of Hewlett Packard and their continuous endeavors for their success in the printing industry.

The gold rush

In this post I bring you a very interesting photo from the time of the gold miners in America. Way before people used to go to the river beds searching for gold, the most valuable thing you could have at the time. There were so many people going to California in search of gold that people started calling gold fever to the movement of persons looking for gold.

In this photo you can see that people had to carry a lot of things that they needed while working but some people were smarter and had dogs which helped them carry things. Dogs are present in almost everything we do because they are great sidekicks since they are always ready to help.

Without any further delay here’s the photo, hope you enjoy.

Bubble gum alley

Have you ever imagined having a bubble gum alleyway? Me neither but in the world there is one where people are always contributing with bubble gum to make that alleyway even bigger.

That bubble gum alleyway is located in the town of San Luis Obispo, California and the street walls are just covered from top to bottom with chewing gums. This street is like a memorial for chewing gum and I must tell you that is better to put them all in the same wall than have them scattered through town.

People also take the chance to do some artistic work with the chewing gums like some drawings. I decided to post about this because this is really a different idea from the usual things we see around.

Hope you enjoy the photo.
