KC Singles Auction will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters

Kansas City, Mo. — (October 29, 2008) KC Magazine will hold its annual KC Singles Auction on Friday, December 5, 2008 at Uptown Theater. The event proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Kansas City (BBBS-KC). Great Expectations is the BBBS-KC Platinum Sponsor.

Kansas City celebrities and executives will auction themselves off to the highest bidder. Outings will include an all-expense trip to Las Vegas for two nights, a chartered 44’ yacht at the Lake of the Ozarks and Party Cove for twelve, a one year unlimited tanning package, Wizards season tickets and many more.

The Emcee for the evening is one of last year’s singles Ron Mayer, owner of Sole Patch and contestant on The Bachelorette Season 4. Singles will include a chef, bodybuilder, TV personality, field organizer for the Obama campaign and Chiefs quarterback Tyler Thigpen. Tanna Guthrie will auctioneer.
